Dorayaki are two castella pancakes sandwiched together with anko in the middle. In some cases, other ingredients are added such as chestnuts or whipped cream. Dorayaki are commonly found at supermarkets and convenience stores in Japan. Fresh dorayaki also make appearances at yatai street food stands, although this is somewhat rare.
